麥拉倫公司從倫敦郊區的一個小辦公樓起家，現在已是全球首屈一指的頂級賽車和跑車製造商。2011年，麥拉倫在渥金建造的超現代製造廠正式投入運營。這個具有未來派色彩的製造廠耗資數百萬英鎊，共雇傭了大約2000名工人，生產包括照片展示的12C在內的一系列公路跑車。

據江蘇網報導，麥拉倫總部擁有一系列先進設施，包括製造廠、風洞、類比器、F1車隊的研發中心以及高度機密的麥拉倫公路跑車研發中心。

麥拉倫的總部(包括F1製造廠)由建築師諾曼‧福斯特勳爵設計。2004年，英國女王親自為它揭幕。

麥拉倫的生產中心具備每年生產4500輛汽車的能力，這一產量將在2015年成為現實，屆時麥拉倫的車型將擴大為3個獨立車型，分別是12C、即將上市的P1以及一款尚未命名的神秘車型。
