在匈牙利首都布達佩斯以北約30公里處的陶希托特村，8月24日晚上，一座橋上的燈光吸引了大量從多瑙河飛來的蜉蝣，整個場面相當驚人！

根據新華網報導，匈牙利的蒂薩河以長尾蜉蝣出名，但那裡的蜉蝣出現在白天。而多瑙河的蜉蝣則出現在夜晚，在有燈光的地方可以看見蜉蝣飛舞的壯觀場面。由於水質的改善，多瑙河蜉蝣在絕跡數十年後近年來重新返回多瑙河。
